Percona Advisors
Automated insights that uncover database security, configuration, performance, and design flaws before they become bigger issues.
Percona Advisors provide automated insights and recommendations for better security posture, configuration, and performance of your databases. You get a set of automated rules that unlock the decades of Percona database expertise.
How Percona Advisors work
Keep databases secure and CVE-free
Percona Advisors inform users about versions of DBs affected by recent CVEs, help ensure the DBs are configured in a secure way with common best practices, and provide insights into the level of replication configuration security.
Proactively optimize queries to get rid of bottlenecks
Percona Advisors provide recommendations for index selection and usage, and they advise on optimal design for schemas.
Ensure optimal database configuration
Percona Advisors inform you of new database versions available for upgrade, and the Advisors provide recommendations on how to correctly configure those versions, how to better use the allocated resources, and how to properly configure replication in database clusters.
Database-specific recommendations include the checks of the efficiency of InnoDB engine configuration for MySQL and proper Vacuum configuration for PostgreSQL.
Achieve peak database performance
Percona Advisors locate performance improvements, from state of query execution to efficiency of the replication usage.
Additional Vacuum Performance Advisor is available for PostgreSQL deployments. It analyzes the database’s vacuum settings (runtime, CPU usage, and other key metrics) and offers recommendations to ensure the database is running efficiently. Fine-tune vacuum settings and optimize disk usage and get faster queries and more reliable PostgreSQL performance.

- Availability at risk
- Replication inconsistencies
- Durability at risk
- Passwordless users
- Unsecure connections
- Unstable OS configuration
- Available performance improvements
