John Breitenfeld

John Breitenfeld is a seasoned go-to-market professional with over 25 years of experience in the tech space. He has spent the last 17 years working in Open Source, Database and Cyber Security organizations. John’s expertise lies in developing and executing successful go-to-market strategies in high-growth early to mid-stage organizations.

In his current role as Chief Revenue Officer at Percona, John is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company’s go-to-market efforts, including marketing, sales, and customer account management.

This is John’s second stint at Percona. He was here as the EVP of Global Sales from 2017 to 2021, during his tenure revenue grew by over 300% with 16 consecutive quarters of over attainment. Prior to re-joining Percona, John led global sales at Panaseer Software a Cyber Security Posture Management provider. During his time there, he built out the sales organization and saw 250% new logo growth and 300% recurring software growth.

John holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Auburn University’s Harbert School of Business.
