Percona Alerting
Easily create alerts using a library of templates supplied by Percona, and be notified about database issues moments after they occur.
Percona Alerting is a feature of Percona Monitoring and Management that helps you create alerts using a library of templates supplied by Percona, or set your own alerting rules, via a comfortable UI. Create, manage, and take action on your alerts in a single, consolidated view, and improve your team’s ability to identify and resolve issues quickly. The alerts can be received via API, Slack, email, webhook, PagerDuty, VictorOps, or over 15 other notification channels.
How Percona Alerting works
Choose alerting template – The Percona team has created a dozen predefined, fully customizable, and reliable alerting templates, all so you can configure an alert with a few simple clicks.
- If you prefer a DIY approach, you can do so by configuring your own Grafana alerts in PMM.
Configure alert rules – Define thresholds and the severity level of alerts, apply rules only to required services or nodes, and group alerts to create targeted alerts on sets of hosts.
Tune notification policy – Send specific alerts to chosen contact points, based on matching criteria in your notification policies.
Receive alerts – Define where and to whom to send alerts. Percona Alerting supports more than 15 other notification channels to ensure the alerts come to your team as soon as the thresholds you’ve defined are reached.
Alert templates
Set alerts in a matter of minutes with preconfigured alert templates from the Percona Team.
A single view of Fired Alerts
consolidates alerts based on Percona templates or Grafana-managed alerts in one single place.
Enterprise Scale
Run alert expressions closer to your data and at a massive scale, all managed by the Grafana-based UI.
Focus on what’s important
- Pause persistent notifications from multiple alerts.
- Scan your paused alert rules without cluttering the main alerting view.
- Freeze alert notifications for recurring periods of time, such as during a maintenance period.
