Any suggestion on where do we need to look to get the description for the columns and values of pglogical.local_sync_status; ?

Example: Under column ‘sync_status’, we do get distinct values like ‘r’,’d’, or ‘i’.
Similarly, under column ‘sync_kind’, we see values like ‘f’, ‘d’ or ‘i’.

Thanks for the great guide! In the pglogical case, how do we know when replication is finished and the provider can be turned off?

Thats a great point Sergey. Thanks for reading making that suggestion. Yes, we need to have the pglogical extension on percona_11 as well. We have only put a high level documentation that does not include a detailed procedure such as installation/configuration. I would surely get this point added.

It is not clear how on percona_11 the pglogical extension appears?

People might think that you do not need to install it, because there is a built-in logical replication.
